Nourishing Cacao Banana Brownies

Can you give me a Yumm, more time? Yummmmmmmm! Yep, these magical squares taste like you are cheating on your New Year's resolution to eat healthier, but wait, they are healthier?!  Evoking the nostalgic decadence of a gooey, sweet chocolatey brownie, these deliver that "wow" factor but with healthy fiber and a low glycemic index that keeps your energy on an even keel, and your body happy as can be.  Chocolate makes my world go round! 

  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar 
  • 2/3 cup nourishing cacao
  • 1 cup watermelon seed flour or flour of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 1/3 cup avocado or olive oil 
  • Handfuls of chocolate chips or add ins
Mix all ingredients together and pour into greased baking dish. 
Bake 40 min or until toothpick comes out clear.
